About the Consultants
There are two consultants available:
Miss Anneli Hardy
Anneli holds a Masters of Science in Statistics from San Jose State University, CA USA (2013) as well as an MA with specialisation in Research Psychology from the University of Pretoria (2006).
Anneli rejoined the SCS in May 2016 after a study break. She previously worked as a statistical consultant at the Statistical Consulting Service of the University of Johannesburg (2006-2009) and at the SCS (UCT) (2009-2011).
Dr Reshma Kassanjee
Reshma completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, majoring in Statistics, at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits, 2007). She also holds a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics (Wits, 2014), focusing on the development of methods to estimate HIV incidence.
Reshma has moved between research and consulting careers: she worked briefly for an actuarial consulting company (Quindiem Consulting, 2008-2009, now absorbed into Ernst & Young); then as a statistical researcher and project manager at a DST/NRF Centre of Excellence (The South African Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis, or SACEMA, 2010-2015); and is currently with the Statistical Consulting Service at the University of Cape Town (Feb 2015 onwards).
