Previous UCT experience: Appointed as a Temporary Lecturer in the Department of Statistical Sciences in 1994, Lecturer in 1995 on a three year contract, and permanent Lecturer in June 1996. Promoted ad hominem to Senior Lecturer in 2003.
Employed by UK Dept for Education as a Fast Track Teacher in 2004
(Fast Track Teaching was an accelerated leadership programme designed for classroom teachers in the early stages of their careers, who demonstrated the potential to rapidly progress into senior leadership positions.)
Worked as a Mathematics Teacher in Cheney School, Oxford during 2004/5 & 2006/7 and Patchway High School in 2005/6.
